Something a little different for this blog post, this little guy is called Archimedes and is a resident at the amazing wedding venue Bovey Castle. Seeing stunning birds of prey this close up are not that common at wedding venues.

Well last Saturday took us to Broadclyst Church and Bovey Castle for the wedding of Sarah and Edward. It was an awesome day and both venues are stunning, Bovey Castle even have a resident owl living on their reception desk. Sarah looked amazing in her wedding gown and Edward and his groomsmen looked great in their suits.

I took so many images during the day and choosing some for the blog is going to be so hard but I wanted to share these images from their special day.

Reed Hall Exeter Wedding

Yesterday was the first wedding of the season for me, and what a wedding it was. Katie and Rob tied the knot at the wonderful church in Morchard Bishop followed by the reception at Reed Hall in Exeter.

I took so many shots and got some amazing shots of an amazing couple but wanted to share this image with you, the whole day was a template for how a wedding should be, yes we had a bit of rain but without that we wouldn’t have had amazing clouds like in this shot.

Studio Move!

Sorry I have been quiet of late but exciting things are happening with Warwick Photography, with christmas portraits being fantastically busy I have also been busy moving to a bigger better studio!

Yes thats right, Warwick Photography is expanding, the new studio space is 6 or 7 times bigger with space for viewing your amazing pictures and also a changing room. I am having to move out of my studio but literally only 2 doors away, so for those of you in Crediton I am located in the old Lofters hairdressers which is on the upper pannier market, I have a great view of the square and loads more space to display my images.

Please pop in and see the new studio, in the new year I will be having an opening party and some special offers.

This week a customer bought her cat in with her for a portrait sitting, makes a lovely change for someone to bring their pets in, we don’t rush the pet portraits, giving the animal time to adjust to the surroundings.

This weekend I have been taking pictures of awesome families and their amazing kids.

We started taking pictures in the studio but as the weather was so nice outside we took a walk down to the park, little Alice loved the slides and swings and wasn’t too happy when we had to leave. being at the park allowed her to relax in something that felt more natural than the studio allowing us to take some lovely pictures.

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Clare and Terry’s wedding at Crediton church followed by a reception at the fox and hounds in Eggesford. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, even the undecided british weather was kind to us by saving the rain for the evening. Clare looked stunning in her wedding dress and the bridesmaids looked amazing. The groom and his groomsmen looked great in matching suits.

The fox and hounds as always is a great wedding venue with all the staff really helpful and beautiful locations to take pictures. One thing is for sure, the venue can certainly hold a lot of people, there was around 260 people at the evening reception.

I had a sunday wedding this week and it took me to Bovey castle and the southgate hotel in Exeter. Zoe looked stunning in her amazing dress and the guys looked great in their suits.
